I agree that MLB network really needs to show some NCAA Games this year. I’d like to be able to watch guys like Anthony Ranaudo pitch or Christian Colon play short for myself.

Instead we are left to finding you tube scraps or maybe catching a game on ESPN2 in the College WS. It’s rather bogus.

Hey RJ,

I appreciate your enthusiasm for the Blue Jays, but they are a last place team in 2009. Maybe at best they will be one or two games better than the Orioles, but they won’t be within 10 games of the Rays. The Rays are an 85-90 win team in 2010, while the Jays will be a 70-75 win team

I love this new consensus that says the Blue Jays will finish last. Based on what exactly? A little less starting pitching, but if Romero, Cecil, McGowan et al pitch decently there’s no reason the Jays can’t at least outlast the Orioles and perhaps the Rays. As for Gregg, the Jays new GM is stockpiling relief depth and Gregg’s still deserving of another chance in the mix.

Actually, Greinke sort of did miss the boat. Because he signed before his big season he got a fraction of the money Verlander and Hernandez are getting. Average $16 million/year for Verlander, $15 million for Felix, and only $9.5 million for Greinke.
